We offer two services each Sunday morning beginning in September. Our first service begins at 8:15am and offers Holy Communion on the first and third Sunday of each month. The second service begins at 10:30am and offers Holy Communion on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.

MT. HOPE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Each week we gather together as a church family to share what God is doing in our lives, encourage one another, learn, connect with each other and with God, and worship.

 Our traditional service meets at 9:30am with organ, piano and choir.

 Coffee is served afterwards in the area directly behind the sanctuary offering a opportunity for everyone to connect and spend time together.

Oasis

This new service was started by leaders at Mt. Hope UM Church to create a place where people can experience a culturally relevant church.  We are passionate about being a place where people who don't go to church can find an experience that connects with their lives and where they can connect with others who are learning what it means to be a Christ follower.

Every person matters here.  We encourage diversity.  People from Lansing, the suburbs, and surrounding communities are involved in Oasis.  And we welcome you.

Discover Life Church

Bethany Baptist Church has been a part of this neighborhood since 1954. Throughout that time we have tried to be a light that would shine in a dark world and offer hope to those who need it most. Recently, we have changed our name in the hope that we can renew a vision of being a vital part of the community. Our new name is Discover Life Church and we want people to come and discover the life that only Jesus Christ can offer. Our next event for the community is a pot-luck lunch immediately following the 11AM worship service on February 19th. Hope to see You there!!
